Friedkin to take step closer to Everton dream amid new transfer developments
Dan Friedkin could take a step in the right direction by signing Maxence Caqueret in a bid to sign “bigger names” at Everton.
The prospective owner at Goodison Park looks set to take over before the end of 2024 which could see him have a telling impact on the upcoming transfer windows.
This could see the US businessman send Jack Harrison back to Leeds United at the end of his loan deal with a view to signing better-known players moving forward [Graeme Bailey].
It looks like the Toffees are already taking a step in the right direction with this ambition after links to the Lyon midfielder.

If Friedkin is keen on bringing “bigger names” to Merseyside, the midfielder fits the bill as a France Under-21 international, gaining 21 caps for his country.
This would add a point of difference to the midfield for Sean Dyche which could complement the physicality of Orel Mangala and Abdoulaye Doucoure well.
There is no doubt that this would represent a positive step forward on and off the pitch and show the direction that TFG are looking to take the Merseyside outfit.
