The Friedkin Group will not be attending the Everton game against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, Goodison News has learned.

Sean Dyche's side are set to take on the Gunners on 14 December with the American group on the brink of securing the takeover.

Goodison News has learned that despite the Premier League giving the green signal to the Friedkins, they will not be making a public appearance as no official announcement has been made.

Everton fans will be excited for the Friedkin era to begin

Farhad Moshiri has overseen a tumultuous era at Goodison Park and fans cannot wait to see the back of him.

While everything may not be positive with regard to the Friedkins' situation at Roma, their expertise in running clubs will certainly come in handy.

They have not been known to make such glaring financial errors as Moshiri did and hopefully, they can bring stability to the club's balance sheet as well.

Much like the Friedkins, Moshiri is also not expected to be at the game and it remains to be seen when the club decide to make the news official. [Joe Thomas]

It's understood that everything could be done before the Chelsea game which is scheduled to be on 22 December at Goodison Park. [Alan Myers, 7 December]

The focus now will be to secure a positive result against the Gunners despite Dyche's side going into this one as heavy underdogs.
