Iliman Ndiaye to be next big Everton exit under The Friedkin Group
Chris Sutton believes Iliman Ndiaye could be the next big exit from Everton.
The outspoken pundit agreed that the Senegal international could be the next superstar the Merseyside outfit will sell in the coming years under The Friedkin Group (TFG).
In the 1-1 draw against Manchester City on Boxing Day, the 24-year-old found the back of the net, and it has been suggested that the selling policy at Goodison Park could continue.
Speaking on the It’s All Kicking Off podcast (27 December), Ian Ladyman said: “It will be interesting whether the new owners continue or feel that they have to continue that policy that we’ve associated with the club over the years of selling a big player or selling a good player every couple of summers.
“And if so, he [Ndiaye] could be the next one.”
Sutton responded: “Sounds like it.”
Everton can’t sanction Iliman Ndiaye transfer
Ndiaye has been immense for the Blues since his move from Olympique Marseille in the summer of 2024.
The Senegalese has become a key player for Sean Dyche at the Merseyside outfit, starting in the last 15 Premier League matches.
In all competitions in the current campaign, the forward has found the back of the net four times and has been electric in the final third for the Toffees.
Everton are lucky to have someone of the 24-year-old’s quality in their ranks, as Dyche has struggled to bring the best out of most players.

The Blues have scored the second-fewest goals in the English top flight this season, with most of the attackers missing their shooting boots.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Beto have failed to make much of an impact at the Merseyside outfit, and Ndiaye has been the 53-year-old head coach’s best-attacking outlet.
If the winger continues his stellar development at Goodison, it wouldn’t be surprising to see top European clubs snooping for him.
While a transfer down the line could be inevitable, TFG must ensure they build a team around him for at least a couple of years.
In other Everton news, TFG are set to raise millions already with a lucrative deal lined up.
