Kevin Thelwell plan ready for brand new Everton transfers in January
Kevin Thelwell has a plan ready to go for the January transfer window at Everton, according to The i.
The newspaper reported on its website on 31 December the Toffees want to sign at least a full-back and a right-sided winger in January but will have to sell before they buy or “box clever” with the structure of deals.
Thelwell, meanwhile, has a plan in mind, which is focused on looking for potential recruits overseas, with The Friedkin Group’s contacts mooted to come in handy.
Kevin Thelwell prepared for Dan Friedkin takeover at Everton
Dan Friedkin completed the takeover of the Merseyside-based club earlier this month, thus bringing some financial stability to Goodison Park.
However, PSR constraints mean that Sean Dyche’s side is not in a position to spend big yet, which is why Thelwell will need a specific strategy in January.
It is pointed out that the director of football was prepared for multiple scenarios, including a takeover being finalised when he started the season.
Therefore, Thelwell is not surprised by the situation he finds himself in and is seemingly ready to give Dyche the tools he needs to ensure Premier League survival this season.

It would be sensible to expect a few movements at Everton in January, with players expected to go in and out of the club.
A return to Italy could be on the cards for Beto, while Dyche needs to decide on sending Jake O’Brien on loan if not in his immediate plans [Tuttosport & Daily Telegraph].
As for incoming, it remains to be seen what Thelwell has in store.
