David Moyes clearly in Everton panic after Manchester United transfer news
David Moyes will be looking to make all the additions he can to strengthen his Everton side ahead of the winter transfer window deadline.
The Blues have seen an immediate improvement under Moyes, but there is a clear need for new signings at Goodison Park before 3 February.
With injuries keeping the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Armando Broja and Orel Mangala sidelined, the boss will be keen to make sure he has enough starters available to him.
Offensive reinforcements are vital, with Beto currently the only fit and available striker.
However, according to Alex Crook (1 February), one player the Toffees have looked at is Victor Lindelof.
David Moyes doesn’t need Victor Lindelof
Manchester United may be willing to sell the 30-year-old and it can always be a temptation to recruit experience into a side that could do with some direction.
However, the manager needs to keep his focus and think about what it is that his side really need.
Defensive signings are not what is urgent at Goodison Park this term and given they would have to pay for this transfer, it is one that makes even less sense.

The Blues boss has spoken about his concerns over PSR regulations and being compliant to ensure no further points deductions for Everton so when they do spend money, it has to be on a carefully considered transfer.
However, this feels more like a panic buy that isn’t a pressing need at this stage.
With the 30-year-old out of contract at the end of the campaign, there is no harm in keeping an eye on this one. However, during this transfer window, this would be a poor move from the Toffees.
