Jamie O’Hara makes ‘Scary’ Everton admission in new Tottenham rant
Jamie O’Hara has admitted it is “scary” that Everton are ahead of Tottenham in the Premier League after they routed Leicester on Saturday.
The Toffees are now two points ahead of Ange Postecoglou’s men with Spurs set to face Brentford on Sunday to try and get back ahead of the Merseyside outfit.
Writing via his personal X account (1 February), O’Hara shared his thoughts on the Toffees’ recent form, which included the 4-0 hammering of Ruud van Nisetelrooy’s strugglers at Goodison Park.
“It’s actually scary that Everton are above us,” O’Hara wrote.
“Levy has killed us no one wants to sign for Spurs no manager wants to take the job, how can you have the stadium we have the facilities we have and no one wants to sign, we are in a relegation battle and it’s going to get worse.”

While there was a small section of Everton fans that didn’t understand the thinking behind sacking Sean Dyche, it feels like it’s the best decision that the Friedkin Group could have made.
Dyche is seen as the Premier League’s survival specialist with fans and pundits thinking that the former Burnley boss was the best man to be in the Toffees’ hot seat, however, it seems that David Moyes is the man they needed.
The Scotsman has come into Goodison Park trying to patch together a down-and-out team and has instead managed to turn them into believers.
Even with players such as Orel Mangala and Dominic Calvert-Lewin sidelined due to injury, the Toffees have managed to grit their teeth and get what needed to be done, done.
A lot of people had already written the Toffees off after their poor start to the campaign but instead, they’ve managed to rise like a phoenix from the ashes and create a solid gap between themselves and the bottom three.
