David Moyes ‘bargaining chip’ emerges for Friedkins after huge Everton reveal
David Moyes is already looking ahead to next season at Everton and Bramley-Moore Dock.
Arriving for what looked like yet another Premier League relegation battle, the Scotsman immediately steadied the ship and secured survival weeks ago.
With that in mind, and the new American owners calming the tricky financial waters around Everton, the transfer budget could be set to dramatically change from recent windows.
Moyes backed that up on Saturday, confirming the Friedkins have said money is available to spend.

Moyes ready for new Everton transfers
Dan Plumley has insisted that the good form under Moyes will have helped his position to bargain for a bigger budget from the Friedkins.
The football finance expert believes that Everton will look to spend bigger than usual, and Moyes will be able to say where they should be investing for their plans moving forward.
“Certainly, it has done him no harm with the Everton position,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“He’s probably gone into that aware that there is a bigger picture in terms of what the club is wanting to do, maybe in the future on manager-wise and how they want to set that up.
“He’s certainly given himself the best opportunity to be that person who takes the club forward into this new era, and that success on the pitch in the short term has steadied that ship.
“That will give him a good bargaining chip going into the summer.
“We’ve said it was likely that Everton will look to spend in the summer; they weren’t in that place in January, the finances are looking much better now in terms of the balance sheet and what they can do.
“He’s given himself the best opportunity to say to the Friedkins, look, this is where we should be investing and these are the plans moving forward.”

Everton set for new era at Bramley-Moore
With the move to the new stadium around the corner and a bigger budget likely available, Moyes has all the tools to really transform everything again.

Nottingham Forest are the perfect example, and maybe something similarly special can happen at Everton, starting from next season.
Money will desperately need to be spent for that to happen, though.
