Everton final league position predicted by supercomputer ahead of 2025/26 season

Everton supporters are looking forward to the new Premier League campaign for once.

David Moyes led the Blues on a remarkable run towards the end of last season, with just five losses in 20 matches in all competitions.

The Friedkin Group have backed him this summer with the likes of Thierno Barry, Carlos Alcaraz, and Mark Travers already signed.

There are more incomings expected in the coming weeks, which could increase the excitement around the first season at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Everton to avoid Premier League relegation comfortably next season

Everton have been involved in relegation scraps in the past few seasons; they were in another one before Moyes transformed them last time out.

The Scotsman is hoping to take his side towards a European qualification, but that may seem like an unrealistic ambition.

The Toffees’ most likely league position in the 2025/26 campaign is 13th, according to the Opta Analyst’s supercomputer.

The outlet simulated the top-flight 10,000 times, and the Blues finished in that position with an average of 48.5 points ahead of the likes of Tottenham, West Ham and Leeds United.

Moyes will be disappointed with Everton prediction

With Moyes planning to qualify for Europe in the near future, the prediction from the supercomputer will disappoint him.

However, it is probably fair, while the Blues have upgraded in some areas of their squad, they need more before the deadline if they are to progress next season.

They are working on deals for Kieran Dewsbury-Hall and Jack Grealish, which would add some much-needed quality into the team.

They would still be an unknown quantity going into the upcoming campaign, as they could either drastically overperform or underperform those expectations.

The foundations are solid, though, and Moyes will be hoping that his side can kick on and surprise observers by finishing in the top half.

However, he needs new blood if he is to do that, as the squad is not up to scratch at the moment, but there is plenty of time to resolve that.

It will be interesting to see what the next prediction has in store for Everton, especially if they make significant additions.
