Everton fans will love Richard Keys take on Jack Grealish transfer – ‘Instant hit if…’

Everton have an exciting Premier League season to look forward to after signing Jack Grealish from Manchester City.

The England international moved to Bramley-Moore Dock on a season-long loan from the Cityzens, with the Toffees also having the option to buy him next summer if everything falls in place.

David Moyes wanted Grealish in L5 ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, and the Scottish manager now has the opportunity to build a successful team around the 29-year-old.

The former Aston Villa star hasn’t been at his best in recent months, but the 62-year-old head coach could potentially have a game-changer on his hands.

Grealish could be instant hit at Everton

If Grealish can deliver for the Toffees next season, that would constitute an excellent piece of business from them, Richard Keys says.

The beIN SPORTS pundit believes the 29-year-old is the sort of player the Blues’ supporters will love at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Keys feels that if the “real” Grealish turns up for the Merseyside outfit, he’ll be an instant hit in L5.

The English sports presenter wrote in his blog on 14 August: “Nibbling away will be Brighton, Bournemouth, Palace, Forest and Fulham. I’d expect more of Wolves and I hope Everton. The new stadium should serve them well, and if they’ve signed the real Grealish, then they’ve done really good business. If Grealish delivers, he’ll be an instant hit. He’s what Evertonians love.”

The Friedkin Group deserve massive praise for bringing Grealish to the Toffees as they’ve had to make a significant investment for the loan deal.

With the Englishman now at the Blues, fans will be confident of challenging for a European spot in the Premier League table.

The 29-year-old brings with him bags of quality, and the attacker’s ability to create chances in the final third will certainly be transformative for the Merseyside outfit.

Everton could play Grealish as a number 10 and give him the freedom necessary to pull the string up front.

Moyes used Abdoulaye Doucoure in a more advanced midfield role last season, and the Man City ace undoubtedly is a huge upgrade on the Mali international.

The Scottish manager was able to turn things around instantly in the previous campaign after replacing Sean Dyche and has now been given the tools to do something special, like win a trophy, at the Merseyside outfit.
