Thierno Barry will be livid at David Moyes decision for Everton vs Aston Villa
David Moyes has chosen his Everton team to take on Aston Villa on Saturday.
The Blues face the Villans at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on 13 September in a crucial match for the ambitions to qualify for Europe.
Everton and Villa each had injury doubts for the contest, which could affect proceedings significantly.
Iliman Ndiaye was a significant doubt for Everton, but there is good news on his involvement in the clash.

David Moyes makes one change for Everton vs Aston Villa
Moyes has made one change to the backline from the win over Wolves. James Garner lines up at left-back for Everton as expected in the absence of Vitalii Mykolenko.
Tim Iroegbunam replaces Garner alongside Idrissa Gueye in midfield, while Jack Grealish lines up in his usual left wing position, with Ndiaye on the other side.
Beto leads the line despite featuring twice for Guinea-Bissau in the international break, with Thierno Barry forced to settle for a place on the bench.
Thierno Barry will be livid at Everton snub
Barry deserves a chance to start for the Blues, and a poor Villa team may have been the perfect opposition.
Given he stayed put on Merseyside, while Beto was on international duty in Africa, he may have expected to start.
- Beto featured for 51 minutes across Guinea-Bissau’s two matches
- Barry stayed put as he was not selected by France, or their youth team
- Barry may be the fresher man, but Beto has still been selected
Barry will probably come off the bench late on, but he will want to get a chance to impress from the start, and he will not get that on this occasion.
Moyes’ decision could prove to be a masterclass if Beto fires his side to all three points, but the Frenchman will not be happy with the call.
How is he supposed to adapt to the top-flight if he is not given regular gametime to learn the physicality and speed that it takes to thrive in English football?
Barry has featured for a total of 82 minutes in the league so far, and he will want his opportunity sooner rather than later.
