Everton to revive Franculino Dju deal, transfer fee already set
Everton look set to reignite their chase of Franculino Dju in the winter transfer market.
Everton signed Thierno Barry in the summer, but they need more goals if they to achieve their ambitions this season.
Beto is not the answer for Everton, and his place in the starting line-up has come under question in recent weeks, so further reinforcements may be necessary.
Angus Kinnear revealed that Everton may not be busy when the market reopens, but they would take advantage of opportunistic circumstances.

Everton to revive Franculino Dju chase after asking price revealed
Everton were interested in Dju in the summer, but ultimately did not sanction a deal for the 21-year-old striker.
A report from Africa Foot on 25 September claims that the Blues are following the Guinea-Bissau forward, but face competition from Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain and Brentford.
It states that FC Midtjylland do not expect to be able to keep Dju, who has scored nine goals and notched three assists so far this season, and have set a £17.5million fee for his departure.
Dju is converting at a rate of 142 minutes per goal and has scored six of 10 big chances, according to Sofascore.

Franculino Dju would not be a guaranteed success at Everton
The Blues have already taken a gamble on one striker from another European league, and with Dju, they would be doing the same thing.
He has an impressive goalscoring record in Denmark, with 22 goals and six assists in the previous two seasons.
- Dju notched 11 goals and three assists in the Superliga in the 2023-24 season
- He followed that with the same record and a Europa League strike in the 2024-25 campaign
- The 14-cap international has nine goals and three assists this season, a total of 12 contributions
However, those numbers would not necessarily translate to English football, and it would be a major risk to rely on him to lead the line.
He would come with similar issues to Barry, a lack of experience in the English game, a decent but not superb goalscoring ability, and age concerns, with him still being so young.
David Moyes needs an attacker with experience in the top-flight, rather than taking another punt on an unqualified talent.
