Jack Grealish must do something he hasn’t done since 2023 in Everton vs West Ham

Jack Grealish needs to step up for Everton against West Ham on Monday.

Everton were knocked out of the Carabao Cup in a dismal 2-0 defeat to Wolves, and they need a positive result on 29 September at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

David Moyes made seven changes to his Everton line-up, which has seen the Scotsman come in for severe criticism.

He needs Grealish to lead his side to victory, to get the fanbase back to the amazing feeling that was there before the international break.

Jack Grealish has a good record vs West Ham

Grealish is set to be recalled for Everton’s clash with the Hammers, with Jarrad Branthwaite potentially making a return to the starting line-up.

The 30-year-old has a decent record against the East London club, playing 11 matches against them, with five wins, three draws and three losses.

As per Sofascore, he has notched three goals and three assists in those matches, with the last contribution being an assist in a 3-0 win for Manchester City in May 2023.

Everton need Jack Grealish to continue his form against West Ham

Grealish will be vital for the Toffees, if they are to walk away with all three points against Moyes’ former side.

The Blues need the England star to notch a goal contribution against the Irons for the first time since 2023, if they are to have a chance of getting the victory.

Grealish is head and shoulders above the rest on the blue half of Merseyside, and he needs to show it in the next match.

Potter’s side are there for the taking, the veteran winger has to turn up and take the contest by the scruff of the neck and inspire his team to the win.

Evertonians have been buoyed by his form since he arrived, and he needs to maintain it, if the Blues are to have a successful campaign.
