Everton on track to match sensational 38-year record vs West Ham
Everton are hoping to get back to winning ways on Monday when they face West Ham at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
There has already been a twist ahead of the tie, with Graham Potter being sacked by West Ham on Saturday as Nuno Espirito Santo comes into the dugout.
However, Everton are likely to remain the favourites at the Hill Dickinson Stadium given the Hammers’ tough start.
With David Moyes overseeing defeats to Liverpool and Wolves this month, he will be expected to get a result.

Everton could match 38-year record against West Ham with clean sheet
So far, Everton’s move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium has been a success.
The Toffees are unbeaten at their new ground, picking up results against Brighton, Mansfield and Aston Villa in all competitions.
The Hill Dickinson Stadium has already been labelled as a fortress, with Everton’s decision to leave Goodison Park appearing to be an instant success.

One of the most impressive feats from this run has been their defensive record, with the Toffees yet to concede a competitive goal at the stadium.
Now, according to BBC Sport on 27 September, if Everton prevent West Ham from scoring on Monday, it will be the first time they keep a clean sheet in each of their first three at home in the league since 1987.

Early goal vital for Toffees against the Hammers
With West Ham now having Nuno at the helm, the Hammers players are likely to be motivated to get a result on Monday.
On top of this, with the West Ham manager specialising in a defensive approach, it will be vital that Everton gets an early goal.
If not, it could be a massive struggle for the hosts, with the Hammers likely to get more confident as the game goes on.
Hopefully, Everton will start quickly against West Ham and show why they can qualify for Europe this season.
