‘Frustrated’ Jack Grealish shares what annoyed him about Everton’s draw vs West Ham in honest Instagram post
Everton’s 1-1 draw with West Ham was no doubt a frustrating result for many of the Hill Dickinson faithful.
The Toffees once again failed to pick up a victory, meaning they are now without a win in four matches in all competitions.
Everton were expected to beat West Ham, who had lost all but one match this season, and David Moyes’ side were on course to achieve this.
However, an awful second-half display allowed the Hammers to get back into the match, with the Toffees unable to get the winner.
Now, Jack Grealish has reflected on the result after the match.

Jack Grealish frustrated not to beat Everton
Grealish has been sensational for Everton since he signed this summer.
While the winger may not have got on to the scoresheet yet, creatively, he is easily the Toffees’ best player.
As it stands, Grealish has made the most key passes both at Everton and in the Premier League, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall not far behind.
However, in recent matches, this has not paid off, with the Toffees struggling to finish off their chances.
- Grealish already has four Premier League assists in six matches
- The winger has been in fine form since his move to Everton
- Grealish will be aiming to make it into England squad for the World Cup in the summer
Beto’s performances for Everton have been a major factor in this, with the striker missing another golden chance against the Hammers.
Now, Grealish has taken to Instagram on 30 September to reflect on the result.
He put on his story: “Frustrated not to come away with the win! Thanks for the support Toffees, and see you again on Sunday.”

Everton may struggle to pick up a victory for some time
While the overall performance against West Ham wasn’t terrible, the Toffees may now struggle to pick up a victory for some time.
Everton’s upcoming matches are horrendous, with the Merseyside club now set to face some of the most in-form teams in the division.
Crystal Palace are up next on Sunday in the final game before the international break. However, after this, an away trip to Manchester City follows, before Everton host Tottenham at the end of October.
Matches against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light and Fulham at the Hill Dickinson Stadium then follow before domestic football is then halted once again for the international break.
From these fixtures, the opposition are likely to be favourites for all but Fulham as it stands.
Therefore, the West Ham draw could prove to be costly in the long term, especially if Everton are dragged into another relegation battle.
