Beto level with Viktor Gyokeres for stat that demonstrates Everton struggles
Beto has been a serial struggler throughout his time at Everton.
While unlikely, Everton are at risk of relegation from the Premier League this season, and their problems all stem from the forward areas.
Thierno Barry has failed to adapt to the Premier League, while Beto’s struggles in front of goal have been well-documented throughout the campaign.
However, the latest reveal showcases just how bad things really are for the Everton forward.

Beto third in Premier League for big chances missed
Despite having played 611 minutes of Premier League football this season, Beto has scored just one goal for Everton.
In his 84 appearances on Merseyside, he has scored just 17 goals, showcasing just how much he has struggled to provide in the final third.
So far this season, he has missed five big chances according to FotMob, which is the third-worst in the top flight, behind Jean-Philippe Mateta and Erling Haaland, though the duo have scored significantly more goals.
Viktor Gyokeres has also missed five big chances for Arsenal this season, but has a 20 per cent conversion rate.

As for Beto’s, his is the second worst in this list, with former Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin the only striker who has missed a similar number of big chances with a lower conversion rate.
Everton are only missing the final piece of the jigsaw
With Iliman Ndiaye and Jack Grealish, Everton have the players to create some magical moments out of nothing.
However, with Barry and Beto, they don’t have anyone to finish these chances, which is exactly why they find themselves down in 13th.
A top striker could genuinely be the difference between a top-eight finish and a relegation battle this season, showcasing the need for that to be addressed in January.
If Moyes is to succeed at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, The Friedkin Group simply have to provide him with the striker he so desperately needs.
Otherwise, it really could be another relegation battle that follows for the Toffees.
