Iliman Ndiaye’s contract situation: Here’s everything Everton fans need to know amid transfer interest
Iliman Ndiaye’s future is one of the most significant questions at Everton at the moment.
Ndiaye has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea in recent weeks.
The Senegal star has been a key player for David Moyes‘ side this season, with five goals and two assists in 22 matches in all competitions.
While the 25-year-old will remain with the Hill Dickinson Stadium outfit until the end of the season, what does his long-term future hold?

What has David Moyes said about Iliman Ndiaye interest?
It is clear that Moyes does not want to see the former Marseille and Sheffield United man depart any time soon.
Speaking in January, while his player was away at the Africa Cup of Nations, Moyes addressed speculation about his future.
He said: “We’ve got no intention of letting Ili go. None whatsoever. By the way, I’m sure there’s a price for every player on the planet if you look around.
“If you’re asking me, we’ve got no intention of selling Ili.”
What is Ndiaye’s contract situation at Everton?
He is still on the five-year deal that he agreed to when he signed for the Blues in July 2024 in a £15m move from Marseille.
Ndiaye’s current contract expires in June 2029, which is more than three years away, so the Friedkin Group have security when it comes to any interest in his services.
He is understood to be on 50 per cent less than the club’s highest earners, with no plans in the works for a new deal at the moment, per The Athletic.
His wage is believed to be around the £45,000-a-week mark at the moment, but there is no confirmation of that figure.
What does it all mean for his future?
Given that he is contracted until 2029, the Merseysiders hold all the cards when it comes to a potential exit for Ndiaye.
They can demand as high a fee as they deem him worth, if they decide to sell, or they can hold him to his current contract.
For what it is worth, he does not seem like he wants to leave the L4 club, as he admitted in an interview with The Times on 6 February that he is happy.
He said: “I see it. I’m not that type of person to just go on X or Instagram because I’m a chill person. I’m calm. Football can take you anywhere.
If, like you said, there’s these teams that are interested, it means that you’re doing something good.
“As long as I’m at Everton, I’ll always give my best for them, and I want to achieve things with Everton, starting with this season and getting into Europe.”
It remains to be seen what happens with his future, but the current situation is beneficial for the Blues in any outcome.
They either make a lot of money on the player and have a jackpot to sign a replacement, or they keep him around for his peak years.
