Everton risk losing Angus Kinnear as West Ham seek Karren Brady replacement
Everton chief Angus Kinnear could be a contender to replace Karren Brady at West Ham.
The businesswoman left her role at the London Stadium earlier this week, after 16 years with the Hammers.
A report from Claret and Hugh on 24 April claims that the Blues’ Chief Executive Officer could be in line to replace her.
Kinnear only joined the Toffees in 2025 from Leeds United, and currently leads the sporting structure at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton could lose him already, though, if the Irons’ interest is real.

Why Kinnear could be tempted to leave Everton
Kinnear has restructured Everton behind the scenes, and he could be tasked with the same role in E20 in the future.
The report claims that the East London side could convince him with a higher salary, as the Blues accounts show their highest paid executive, believed to be the ex-Leeds man was £562,000 per year.

It states that Brady was paid approximately £1.5m this season, so the Hammers could incentivise him to return to the club that he worked for between 2013 and 2017.
Why Everton need to keep Kinnear around
The Toffees cannot afford to lose Kinnear, he is a top-class operator who is highly regarded within the game and has transformed their structure in the backroom.
His work so far in L3 has paid off, with David Moyes‘ side back in contention for European qualification, and if they were to see him depart to a Premier League rival, it would be a devastating blow.

The hope will be for the 48-year-old to continue his work and add more quality staff members to the recruitment team, so that the Blues can continue to thrive and push for trophies, and end their long drought.
The Englishman has done so much good work so far, to have him call it quits and make the move to London could risk setting the Toffees back in their efforts to reach success.
If the Hammers end up making an offer to poach his services, the Merseysiders need to at least match it, if not better it, to ensure that he stays put in his current role and rejects the chance to replace Brady.
