David Moyes unimpressed with Jack Grealish as Everton controversy only made worse
David Moyes won’t be happy with what he’s seen from Everton loanee Jack Grealish.
The attacking midfielder has been absent for months due to a foot injury sustained after a 1-0 away win over Aston Villa in January.
He has since undergone surgery and is now on the road to recovery, but has recently been pictured looking worse for wear in a Manchester bar.
With a table full of cocktails in front of him, it hasn’t painted the best picture for the 30-year-old, who has been involved in his fair share of controversy in the past.
Grealish may not be a permanent Everton player yet, but that doesn’t appear to have stopped Moyes from showing his frustration towards the Englishman.

David Moyes ally reveals annoyance towards Jack Grealish antics
There has been a generally positive vibe surrounding the Manchester City loanee after sealing his Hill Dickinson Stadium switch in the summer.
The opening months of the campaign were excellent for the former Aston Villa star before he picked up a season-ending injury.
| Stat (Premier League 25/26) | Jack Grealish |
| Matches | 20 |
| Minutes played | 1631 |
| Goals | 2 |
| Assists | 6 |
| Chances created | 38 |
That has come as a blow to Everton’s number 18, and no one can really blame him for making the most of his free time, but maybe he went a step too far.
Former Everton scout and Moyes ally Bryan King has suggested that the Scot won’t be pleased by what he’s seen from Grealish, and has slammed the people around him for letting it happen.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, King said: “It’s not the kind of publicity you want when you’re supposed to be getting back to fitness.
“They say all publicity is good publicity, but that isn’t what anyone wants to see.
“Knowing David Moyes, he isn’t going to be impressed seeing that kind of picture, especially when he isn’t available to play.
“That makes it worse, to be honest.
“I know it’s no fun being injured, and you need a blowout, but these so-called friends with him are supposed to help him.

“They should be saying, ‘Come on, let’s get out of here because someone’s going to get a picture of you and it’ll be in the paper.’
“That is exactly what happened because no one got hold of him and left him lying there alone.”
These images of Grealish haven’t gone down well at Everton and beyond, with many big names springing to his defence in recent days.
Everton should still sign Grealish from Manchester City
An afternoon drink in the Manchester sunshine on a rooftop shouldn’t be the difference between a permanent Merseyside return in the summer.
Yes, it appears that he took it too far, but letting it cloud all the great work he does on and off the pitch is totally unfair.
He was a true talisman in the first half of the season and has continued all his ambassador work off the pitch, with his role with the Special Olympics summing that up.
Grealish has proven himself to be a class act with the Toffees, and Moyes will know what sort of difference he can make.
The Scot will be unimpressed with the images he’s seen, but he has to understand the situation the attacker finds himself in right now.
