Adam Aznou’s whereabouts revealed as Everton star spotted celebrating with Lamine Yamal
Adam Aznou is a forgotten man at Everton, but has been found celebrating Barcelona’s title-winning triumph with none other than Lamine Yamal.
The left-back has played just one time under David Moyes this campaign, making a brief cameo in the FA Cup shootout loss to Sunderland in January.
Funnily enough, the 19-year-old made an immediate impact, drawing a spot kick in the game, which eventually forced the match to penalties, and kept Moyes’ side in with a chance of winning.
Everton signed the teenager from Bayern Munich on a permanent deal last summer, but fans have been left frustrated as to why he’s not been given more of a chance.
Likely, Aznou won’t play for Everton again this season, with just two games remaining in the Premier League, which may explain why he’s in Spain with 2025 Ballon d’Or nominee, Yamal.

Adam Aznou seen celebrating title win in stands with Lamine Yamal
There are still high hopes for Aznou at Everton, with internal figures confident that they spent a seven-figure fee on him for good reason.
However, the defender hasn’t featured in a matchday squad since the 2-0 loss to Arsenal in March, and is instead enjoying his life rather than playing football.

Aznou performed well with Morocco’s U23s in March, yet still can’t do enough to convince Moyes in training at Finch Farm.
Barcelona wrapped up their league title in style by beating Real Madrid 2-0 in El Clasico this Sunday, as the Culers’ second goal panned to the crowd, where Aznou and Yamal were seen joyous together.
It’s roughly 1,150 miles on road from the centre of Merseyside to Barcelona’s stadium, the Spotify Camp Nou, which is no wonder why nobody has seen the Moroccan recently.
It’s not really clear what Aznou’s role is with the academy either, as he seems to be in between making appearances for the U21s on weekends while also occasionally featuring on the bench for the first team.
This could be the plan with Aznou in the summer
Selling Aznou this summer would make no sense, especially given the fact that the Blues spent so much on the youngster.
He clearly has some potential to have come from Bayern Munich, but a lack of chances will have prevented his development this season.
Moyes has been criticised for his lack of trust in young players, and fans will be hoping this changes soon, starting with Aznou.

As seen in the suggestion above on X, the full-back could be sent on loan this summer while Vitalii Mykolenko takes a back seat for a new left-back.
Mykolenko could then be sold in a few windows before Aznou would then hopefully come back ready to compete for a starting spot.
