Everton want World Cup-bound Jamie Leweling as price already set
Everton have reportedly expressed a concrete interest in Jamie Leweling, with Stuttgart already naming their price for the winger.
Leweling is part of Germany’s squad for the upcoming World Cup after starring for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga this season.
The 25-year-old scored seven goals and assisted a further nine in the German top flight, while also being directly involved in four Europa League goals.
He is a versatile winger who can play on both flanks and also through the middle, but the left-hand side is his preferred position.
Leweling certainly seems like a viable target for the Toffees who ticks many boxes, with an update now emerging on the attacker.

Everton not alone in Jamie Leweling chase
David Moyes could do with bringing in at least a couple of new wide attacking players in the summer window.
Dwight McNeil looks set to move on, five months later than planned, while Jack Grealish is also due to return to Manchester City.
| Jamie Leweling | Stuttgart stats |
| Games (starts) | 32 (26) |
| Goals/assists | 7/9 |
| Dribble success rate | 46% |
| Shots per game | 1.5 |

Iliman Ndiaye, meanwhile, has dropped off drastically in terms of his form over the past couple of months.
And it now seems as though Everton have set their sights on Leweling, as per a report from Sky Sport Germany.
As relayed by Bulinews, Everton have expressed a concrete interest in the former Union Berlin ace, suggesting they have already contacted Stuttgart.

Stuttgart are said to be looking for a fee of at least £43million for Leweling, who is also on the radar of Roma and fellow Premier League side Bournemouth.
Jack Grealish latest leaves Everton transfer plans on hold
Grealish hinted this week he is open to staying at Everton for another year, which of course will very much be welcomed by everyone associated with the Toffees.
There is the small matter of negotiating with Manchester City, though, and it may well be a waiting game as the summer goes on.

But Everton cannot simply put all their eggs in one basket. Anyway, Moyes needs more than one winger and Leweling – on the face of it – seems worth the asking price.
Lessons need to be learned from the past and Everton need to attack the summer window, hopefully with funds freed up by the Friedkin Group.
If Leweling is their man, it makes total sense to go all out to get him ASAP.
