Jack Grealish delivers significant hint over Everton stay as new footage emerges
Jack Grealish has had quite the impact on Everton fans despite only featuring for one half of the Premier League season.
The English winger had been a clear talisman for the Toffees as they looked to push for those European places this campaign.
However, a foot injury, which ultimately required surgery, put a premature end to his time at Hill Dickinson and also ended his World Cup hopes.
Talk has been that Everton are looking to keep the Manchester City winger in Merseyside next season but not at the £50million buy option included in the loan deal.
Ahead of Everton’s summer window, they will have to go into talks with the Manchester club, but Grealish may have just dropped the biggest hint yet over what he wants to happen.

What hint has Jack Grealish dropped over his Everton future?
Grealish is an enigmatic figure, and he boasts quite a lot of personality both on the pitch and off the pitch.
So the latest emergence of footage of the Everton loanee singing and chanting with Toffees supporters will come as no real surprise. However, the words sung will certainly interest fans.
| Jack Grealish’s Manchester City contract | Total |
| Expiry | June 2027 |
| Wages per week | £225,000 |
A video on social media has come out showcasing Grealish starting the chant: “One more year, one more year, Jackie Grealish.”
An obvious reference to the fact he is on loan at Everton, and quite a significant hint that he wishes to extend his time at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton fans will be hoping it is more than just the “one year”, as a permanent move would be far more ideal than simply another loan.

Could Pep Guardiola’s reported Manchester City exit affect Grealish’s future?
Pep Guardiola is reportedly leaving Man City at the end of the season, but it has yet to be fully confirmed by the Etihad side or the Spaniard.
However, that could have a slight impact on the Toffees’ move for Grealish. Enzo Maresca is touted to be the man to take over from the six-time Premier League winner.

There is always a chance that Maresca comes into Man City and decides that Grealish is a player he wants to keep for next season.
The 30-year-old would then have to be convinced that more playing time at City under the Italian is a likely outcome.
However, higher-ups may end up making the overall final decision with Grealish’s current contract set to expire at the end of 2027.
The board will likely rather recoup some money rather than let him leave on a free the following summer.
