Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium could become on of Europe's premier arenas for non-footballing events.

The state-of-the-art £800million stadium is one of the most modern and impressive new stadiums anywhere in the world.

Everton have clearly been loving having it as their new home too, as David Moyes' side have lost just once from four Premier League games there this term.

But football, both on and off the pitch is a business, and in Hill Dickinson Stadium, the Toffees are sitting on a potential revenue goldmine.

When the football season stops, a natural window of time to fill the arena's schedule with other events opens.

But it would appear that Everton aren't yet taking full advantage of this, and thus could be leaving precious pounds on the table.

What has Alan Myers said about Hill Dickinson Stadium concerts?

One of the big money-makers for football clubs regarding the utilisation of their stadium for events is through music.

The summer touring season often sees some of the biggest artists and bands put on arena tours.

Manchester City's Etihad Stadium, Man United's Old Trafford and Spurs' Tottenham Hotspur Stadium all play host to some huge concerts almost every year.

Everton, on the other hand, are yet to follow suit, and that may not be changing any time soon.

Responding to a question on X asking about the future of concerts at Hill Dickinson, Alan Myers delivered a disappointing response.

"Not heard anything," said Myers, who is typically very much in the know and has his ears to the ground on anything happening with the Toffees.

So, just how much money could Everton be leaving on the table if they don't embrace concerts at Hill Dickinson?

How much Everton could earn per concert at Hill Dickinson

Tottenham have been setting a strong example of how to make the most out of your stadium.

Spurs have been hosting NFL games at there N17 home for a number of years now, and that sees them bring in millions of pounds per game.

A recent September report from The Athletic reveals that a stadium with a capacity of 50,000 can see the parent club earning between £1.2m and £1.6m per concert.

Hill Dickinson Stadium has a capacity of 52,769, so Everton could probably expect to be closer to £1.6m.

Per summer, Everton could easily fit a handful of concerts in at Hill Dickinson before the new season arrives.

As such, the Toffees could be passing on millions and millions of pounds, as well as not fully realising the potential of their new home.

This is made even stranger considering Everton did previously reveal music plans at Hill Dickinson for 2027, as detailed by the Liverpool Echo, but no such announcements have been made.
