Everton defender Vitalii Mykolenko is expected to be available to play the full 90 minutes against Crystal Palace on 28 September at Goodison Park, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the illness appears to be in the rearview mirror with Sean Dyche also confirming he's ready to play.

In his pre-game press conference, the Toffees manager confirmed that the Ukraine defender was well again.

"It sounds like he could be ready to play the full 90 minutes and that the illness is in the rearview mirror.

"The key will be how he responds to training, particularly his conditioning.

"Dyche has given the green signal about his availability and I reckon he’ll be close to a 100 per cent."

Everton will be delighted to have Vitalii Mykolenko back

Having Mykolenko back is a real relief for Dyche as he's the only recognised regular left-back in the squad.

While Ashley Young has played there in his absence, he clearly does not have the same impact as the Ukranian does.

Hopefully, the 25-year-old can have an injury-free campaign and be pivotal to the Toffees' climb up the table.
