Jarrad Branthwaite has been absolutely immense for Everton this season.

The 24-year-old has started the opening four Premier League games of the 2026-27 campaign, which will be encouraging for David Moyes.

Last season, multiple hamstring issues kept the English centre-back out for a considerable period.

Branthwaite has dealt with persistent injuries at Hill Dickinson Stadium, but finally seems to have found some consistency.

The talented English prospect's partnership with James Tarkowski at the back has been solid and the Blues have got off to an unbeaten start.

While there's always a risk of injuries recurring, it looks like the former Carlisle United centre-back could be past that.

Branthwaite visited an injury specialist in Germany after his issues at the Toffees.

It looks like the defender has found a recovery system to avoid being sidelined for too long.

According to Liverpool Echo journalist Joe Thomas on 14 September, the belief at the Merseyside outfit now is that Branthwaite has made enough progress to handle three games a week.

The fact that the English centre-back is considered capable of doing so is seen as "significant".

There's no doubt that with Branthwaite regularly playing for the Blues, their prospects of challenging for Europe will look better this season.
