Chris Sutton blasts 'careless' Ndiaye for what he did in Everton v Manchester City
Chris Sutton was not happy with Iliman Ndiaye as Everton succumbed to a 2-0 loss against Manchester City on Saturday.
Everton hoped to give their fans a memorable afternoon as they hosted Manchester City in their third-last game at Goodison Park on 19 April, only to be undone by late goals from Nico O'Reilly and Mateo Kovacic.
The Toffees were on course to take two more points off the reigning Premier League champions, with Jake O'Brien making an incredible goal-line save to deny Kevin De Bruyne in the first half.
However, Manchester City eventually reaped the rewards for putting David Moyes' side under pressure, as O'Reilly put them in front with just six minutes to 90.
Kovacic then went on to double the lead for the visitors.
Sutton slams Ndiaye after Everton v Manchester City moment
Ndiaye has been one of Everton's best players this season, but was rather insignificant against a dominant Manchester City side on Saturday.
The Senegal international was guilty of putting the Goodison Park outfit in trouble on one occasion as he cheaply conceded possession, prompting a City counter-attack.

While James Garner was on guard to keep Omar Marmoush at bay, Sutton was not pleased by the manner in which Ndiaye gave the ball away.
Reacting to the incident live on BBC, the pundit described the attacker as 'careless' for what he did.
"It's a brilliant recovery from Garner, careless from Ndiaye once again, from Everton's point of view", Sutton said on BBC Radio 5 Live (19 April, 3:26 pm).
"Manchester City had a counter-attack chance, but Garner snuffed it out."
Moyes won't be bothered by Goodison Park defeat
In the end, Moyes will not be too bothered about the defeat against Manchester City, although he would have liked to give the fans something to be happy about.
Everton remain 13th in the Premier League with five games left to play, although Manchester United and Tottenham can go above them if they win their respective games.
The Merseyside-based club will look to return to winning ways when they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge next Saturday, 26 April.
