David Moyes must consider recalling Isaac Heath in January after the winger found the net again for Accrington Stanley on Saturday.

The Everton youngster netted the opener just six minutes in as Accrington Stanley overcame Bristol Rovers 3-1.

It was another impressive display by the Everton Under-21s’ reigning Player of the Season, who has now netted three times while out on loan.

However, the Toffees should consider ending Heath’s loan move at Accrington Stanley and give the winger a bigger challenge in the EFL.

Isaac Heath should be sent out on loan to League One

Over the past couple of months, it has been clear that the 21-year-old has high potential.

However, it has become abundantly clear that Heath is capable of playing for a better club in these past weeks.

Currently, the youngster is fighting to keep Accrington Stanley in League Two, with the Reds just three points above the drop zone.

Now, in January, Moyes should consider recalling Heath and sending him on loan to a League One club to really test his ability.

At 21 years old, the youngster does not have long to develop into a first-team player for Everton, and playing for Accrington Stanley may actually be holding him back.

Whereas, if Heath was loaned to a League One side and did well, he could then move up to the Championship for the 2026/27 season, where he would just be a few steps away from the Toffees’ first-team.

What are Heath’s stats vs Bristol Rovers?

According to Sofascore on 16 November, Heath put in an ok performance against Bristol Rovers.

While his goal was a plus, there were plenty of mixed stats, with the winger only making one key passes and zero successful dribbles from seven attempted.

Nevertheless, the goal was a key point and helped the hosts dominate proceedings from then on.

Hopefully, this will be another match for the winger to build up as he looks to develop into a top player.
