David Moyes looks to have made a glaring error as Everton prepare to face Liverpool in a feisty Premier League clash on Wednesday.

The battle on 12 February marks a momentous occasion for the Toffees, with Moyes set to lead his side out for the 120th, and final, Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

With The Friedkin Group's era just beginning, the club will be moving to the Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium at the end of the 2024/25 season. It is a hugely emotional night.

However, Moyes might have just made a victory that much more difficult after the starting XI emerged on social media before the clash.

The manager could end up regretting this glaring error, with the game likely to end up passing Doucoure by due to the pace at which the Reds play, even away from home.

Toffees to leave Goodison Park with a bang

The Toffees have created so much history during their years at Goodison Park, but with just a handful of matches left of the current campaign, they must saviour the last few moments.

Facing Liverpool is an extremely tricky task, but with the night being fueled by so much emotion, it could be the perfect time for the players to put on a show for their incredible supporters.

With this in mind, Alcaraz would be the right player to play the attacking midfield role, considering his ability to hold opponents off, show a bit of fight and push a team forward.

Of course, Moyes has the opportunity to bring the 22-year-old Argentine on as a substitute, but it might be too late for the Toffees to make an impact then.

The Blues need to make a lightning-quick start at Goodison Park if they are to stun their visitors. It could be a magical night for the home side but Moyes looks to have put them on the back foot already.
