Everton attacker Anthony Gordon appeared to be saying goodbye to the fans after the Nottingham Forest clash on Saturday.

The Englishman has been linked with a move to Chelsea and his reaction after that game may give an indication as to where his mind might be.

He is beloved by the Goodison Park faithful but with the window open, anything could happen and a move to Stamford Bridge appears to be a tempting prospect.

It will be hard for the fans to digest the loss of a rising star, but if Chelsea are willing to pay over the top then Everton must just grab the chance to sell him.

While the 21-year-old is good, few would suggest that he's worth £50million - something the London club could be willing to pay for him.

The Toffees want to sign a midfielder this summer and want the Champions League contenders to include Billy Gilmour as part of the deal.

This would be something that works for Frank Lampard as he admires the Scotland international and he would add a bit of bite to this Toffees midfield.
