Bryan King claims Everton are beginning to get back on track financially at Goodison Park.

The ex-Goodison scout feels that the club's transfer business suggests they aren't in as much financial trouble as they once were.

As reported by Alan Myers via Sky Sports News (2 July), Iliman Nidaye will finalise his switch to Goodison Park on Wednesday (3 July).

And King - speaking exclusively to Goodison News - claims this is a huge boost for club supporters.

"They are clearly getting the financial side of things in place to allow them to do this," King said.

"After the season they had, any new player coming into the club at the moment will therefore be a massive bonus for the supporters at Goodison Park.

"It will be exciting for those supporters once Ndiaye is announced, as they can start looking forward to watching him in action during pre-season.

It has been quite a few weeks for the Toffees.

At the backend of the 2023/24 campaign, it looked as if it would be a summer of sales and takeover uncertainty.

However, it now appears as if Dan Friedkin will complete a takeover of the club, while no major stars are yet to leave Goodison Park.

Meanwhile, the signings of Jack Harrison and Tim Iroegbunam have already been sealed, and it looks as if Ndiaye is close too.

Everton supporters will be feeling slightly more optimistic

As a result, supporters will be feeling much more optimistic about the club's prospects ahead of next season, with the Toffees surely hopeful of avoiding yet another relegation battle.
