Seamus Coleman must be axed by Sean Dyche for Everton v Chelsea after his performance against Burnley on 6 April.

The Republic of Ireland international was named in the starting eleven as the Toffees secured a 1-0 victory courtesy of a Dominic Calvert-Lewin goal.

However, a side like Chelsea will exploit Coleman if he starts and Dyche must revert to play Ben Godfrey there on 15 April at Stamford Bridge.

The stats do not make good reading for Coleman

Even though he played against relegation candidates, the 35-year-old completed just 21 out of his 32 attempted passes. [Sofascore]

That means his pass accuracy was only 66 per cent - a terrible return and it was no surprise he was one of the worst passers on the pitch.

He lost possession 16 times and misplaced all four of his attempted long balls.

Coleman won just one of his three ground duels and was inferior to his opponents in the air as well - losing both his duels.

The right-back even struggled to get past his man, failing to complete either of his two attempted dribbles.

Ben Godfrey must start for Everton v Chelsea

Godfrey might be a centre-back by trade but he's played at right-back of late and has done a decent job.

He's better in the air, offers more defensively and is also a decent passer which might be important as Chelsea are expected to press high up the field.
