As many as nine Everton players are now at risk of missing the game against Arsenal on Sunday (17 September) at Goodison Park.

According to injury expert Ben Dinnery, on his website Premier Injuries, the seven players that are doubtful are Lewis Dobbin, Michael Keane, James Tarkowski, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Andre Gomes, Jack Harrison and Jarrad Branthwaite.

Two players being categorised as "ruled out" are Seamus Coleman and Dele Alli.

Tough one

Even with a full-strength squad, winning this match was going to be a major challenge for the Toffees.

Last season, Everton managed to pick up the three points from this fixture but that was Sean Dyche's first game in charge.

The players were encouraged by a new manager walking through the door and looked to quickly buy into his ideas.

However, with no wins in four games which includes three defeats, Everton are not going into this game in the best shape.

Dyche will be hoping that he gets most of the doubtful players available for the game as they will have had two weeks to recover for the contest.

Arsenal are going to be overwhelming favourites and hopefully, the Goodison Park faithful can make things harder for them.
