Jamie O'Hara loses his mind at what Jordan Pickford did in England vs Ghana live on talkSPORT
Jamie O'Hara was left furious with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and his England team-mates during the draw with Ghana.
The Three Lions were held to a goalless draw in a drab stalemate in their second Group I fixture at World Cup 2026 in Boston on Tuesday.
England lacked cohesion and unity for much of the game, with their best chance arriving late on when Nico O'Reilly hit the crossbar and Harry Kane leathered over the rebound.
Pickford was a passenger for much of the game, with Ghana happy to sit deep and defend, and they had just one shot on target during the game.
However, Everton's number one, 32, was involved in a couple of anxious moments for England that on another day could have proven costly.
And there was one moment in particular that left O'Hara, and co-hosts Jason Cundy and Carlton Cole exasperated on the Sports Bar.
Jamie O'Hara screams at Jordan Pickford as England avoid calamity
Pickford was fortunate during the game to have avoided punishment for rushing out of goal and clashing with Prince Adu at Gillette Stadium.
The same player was involved in a huge flashpoint with a little over 10 minutes of the game remaining.
Adu outmuscled Eberechi Eze, beared down on goal, and had legitimate claims for a foul against Ezri Konsa.
Pickford did not exactly cover himself in glory either during the incident, failing to stop Adu or claim the loose ball, as England panicked in their own penalty area.
Watching the action unfold for talkSPORT, an enraged O'Hara yelled: "What are we doing?
"What is Jordan Pickford doing? He's run past the ball twice. Can someone tell me what Jordan Pickford is up to?"
O'Hara, Cundy, and Cole then questioned whether a penalty would be awarded, before the former once again turned his ire towards Pickford.
"Pickford play the ball, play the ball, Jordan Pickford what are you doing?!" O'Hara added.
What did Carlos Queiroz say about England vs Ghana controversy?
Unsurprisingly, Ghana coach Carlos Queiroz took a dim view of the potential penalty incident after the game.
In truth, Ghana themselves had done absolutely nothing to deserve the win, but the Portuguese probably did have a legitimate grievance about the decision.
In quotes reported by BBC Sport, Queiroz said: "I'm not sure VAR is still working in the World Cup. We still have VAR? It's working?
"I have some doubts about that because another penalty that they need give to Ghana, a clear penalty against England [was missed]. They're lucky. They're very lucky.
"It was a clear penalty, red card. You have any doubts about that? You guys who saw the game have any doubts about that or is it only me that was in the game?"
Despite the disappointing nature of the defeat, England are still well positioned with four points from two games.
They round out their group-stage obligations against Panama on Saturday, a game where they will be overwhelming favourites.
Pickford will hope there is not a repeat of the contentious moment in that game.
