Jonathan Nsangou puts David Moyes on notice amid exciting Everton Under-18s footage
Everton boss David Moyes must pay attention after what Jonathan Nsangou has done for the Under-18s.
The 16-year-old is one of the most highly-rated talents at Finch Farm and only enhanced his reputation in the 6-1 win over Leeds United's youth side on Saturday.
He is contracted to the Toffees until 2028, so there is no concern that he will be departing the Merseyside club anytime soon.
The Blues have undertaken a major overhaul to their academy system in recent months, and it seems to be paying off.
Ray Robert notched a brace and Harry Brookes was also on the scoresheet, but the England Under-16 star may have been the best of the lot.
Now, new footage of his showing has emerged, and it will pique the first-team manager's interest.
Why Jonathan Nsangou will have put Everton on notice
Nsangou scored a brace in the contest, but it is the nature of the goals that should appeal to supporters and Moyes.
Footage released by the club's official academy account on Monday included all the goals, and the tri-national's were the pick of the bunch.
His first was when he picked the ball up from a poor pass by the Whites' goalkeeper and dinked it over him from just outside the box.
Then his second was even more spectacular as he picked up the ball on the edge of the area and curled into the bottom right corner, for the final goal of the contest.
However, it is not the first time that the Polish, English and Cameroonian youngster has impressed and he will hope to follow in Harrison Armstrong's footsteps.
How has Nsangou performed so far in Everton's academy?
One of his first highlights for the youth team was a brace against the same opposition in the Under 18 Premier League in March 2025.
Nsangou became the first Everton player that was born in the 2010s to play for the Under-21s when he featured against Aston Villa last September.
He continued his impressive rise in January, when he notched a brace against Stoke City a 5-3 win, with his goals proving decisive.
In April, he scored a stunning strike from the halfway-line against Panionios during the Cup of Rhodes Knights Under-16 tournament in Greece.
He has a total of eight goals and three assists in 24 games for the Under-18s so far.
