Everton secured their inaugural Premier League home victory of the season with a commanding 3-0 triumph over winless Bournemouth at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Jack Harrison's goal, which was the second in the 3-0 victory, was undoubtedly the pick of the bunch for the Toffees.

Peter Schmeichel, who saw the footage of that striker at half-time was undoubtedly thrilled by it.

Speaking on the Premier League world feed at 16:00 on 7 October, he said, "That's a beautiful finish. Wow. Nothing the keeper can do about it."

Take a bow

Harrison would not have picked a better way to break his Everton goal-scoring duck and it was a sensational finish from him.

He timed the ball perfectly and had to hit at the precise angle and ensure that nobody can stop it from finding its way into the back of the net.

Even apart from the goal, he had a number of moments where he threatened and looked the real deal for the Toffees on the right.

Alex Iwobi was decent in terms of the work rate he provided but Harrison has an end productive and is also extremely creative as well.

It remains to be seen if this performance is enough to merit a regular start but there's everyone reason to believe that it should.

Hopefully, the Toffees build on this result and go on a run of wins in the Premier League.
