Atalanta will reportedly carefully evaluate all the offers that they receive this summer for Everton target Duvan Zapata.

According to Tutto Atalanta [27 March], the Colombian striker could be on his way out of the Champions League chasing club at the end of the season.

The Serie A outfit will be looking to strengthen and the 31-year-old may be one of the names they decide to part ways with.

Move on

Everton cannot waste their time in attempting to sign players at the back end of their careers if they want to go to the next level.

Zapata may have had an illustrious goal scoring career and would've been a good option a few seasons ago, he's clearly not worth the hassle right now.

Had he been any good, Atalanta wouldn't be open to selling him and that's as clear an indication as any that Everton need to stay clear of any pursuit.

Everton

They need to go for a proven goal scorer preferably in his early or mid 20s who can be a good fit in Sean Dyche's system.

Udinese forward Beto appears to be the real deal and one that Dyche is a fan of so this is a move that could happen this summer.

Hopefully, common sense prevails and the club ends up going for the striker that they should and not the one that's easily available.
