Somehow, Everton went past deadline day with just one senior striker, and no expert back up in either full-back position.

But it should not gloss over the fact that Moyes has now been given sufficient resources for a gruelling Premier League campaign.
And a new reveal highlights just now important it will be to address one of the wrongs Everton created in the window.
Everton need Thierno Barry back-up as soon as possible
Creating a situation where Thierno Barry is the only senior striker at Hill Dickinson Stadium was entirely avoidable.
Barry is a real tryer, and a player who has tons of potential, so it is not about knocking him.
But the 23-year-old managed only eight Premier League goals in his debut campaign, and remains very much a work in progress.
This season, he has five in all competitions - albeit three of those were a hat-trick in the Carabao Cup second round against Preston.
In the league, his goal in the 1-0 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday means he has two from five games.
But, following a new stat reveal from WhoScore on X, it is evident Barry could already have way more.
According to the post, Barry has missed six "big chances" in the Premier League this season - the most of any player.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Erling Haaland, Bryan Mbeumo, Evanilson, Igor Thiago, and Charalampos Kostoulas each have missed four.
Everton have to right the wrongs
It is a testament to Moyes that he has side unbeaten so far given all the external noise around his team.
But the truth is, if he is being honest, he definitely would have wanted a big squad to go into the season with.
So, Everton have to right the wrongs of the summer, especially if they are serious about trying to work their into European football.
And that has to start by signing another striker to complement Barry, who should never have been put in a position to shoulder the goalscoring burden alone.
