Ndiaye is the younger man by three years, as he is 26 years old and Richarlison is 29.
However, the latter performed better last season, with 12 goals and five assists in 43 matches in all competition.
Ndiaye managed six goals and three assists in 34 matches, so it may work out to be a better deal for the Merseysiders.
There may be concerns about Richarlison's injury record, as he missed 74 matches for club and country in his time in North London.
However, he was fit for most of the last campaign, so he may well have put fitness issues behind him.
He only missed seven games through injury last time out, so that suggests that he can stay fit in the current campaign.
