Everton bid to seal Gonzalo Montiel transfer gathers pace as talks underway
Everton, Nottingham Forest and Borussia Dortmund are all keen on signing Sevilla defender Gonzalo Montiel, according to Uriel Lugt.
The Mercado de Pases journalist took to X on 25 August to claim that talks are underway over the Argentina international's potential exit from Sevilla this month.
No formal offer has been made for the 27-year-old right-back thus far.
Lugt wrote: "Everton and Borussia Dortmund add to the interest in Gonzalo Montiel.
"Talks are already underway for the full-back to leave Sevilla permanently. Nottingham Forrest is also in the running. There is no formal offer yet."
