Everton may have been given renewed hope of signing Petar Sucic from Inter Milan.

The Croatia international was linked with a move to Hill Dickinson Stadium in the summer.

This came on the back of just one season at San Siro for Sucic, who cost Inter just short of £12million to sign from Dinamo Zagreb in 2025.

Sucic has made 39 Serie A appearances for Inter, but he has started just three times so far this season.

After a sale was ruled out in the summer, that stance may be about to change.

And a new report coming out of Croatia has also now shared the 22-year-old's stance on a potential move.

What is Petar Sucic's stance on Inter Milan exit?

Sucic is a very highly thought of talent back in Croatia, with Luka Modric previously tipping him to go to to the top - even potentially surpassing his own incredible achievements.

Zagreb president Zvonimir Boban, meanwhile, hailed Sucic as an "extraordinary player" and a "complete player".

However, the 25-cap Croatia international has not been able to push on at three-time European champions Inter this season, not helped by increased competition for a starting spot.

As per Sportske Novosti, Inter may now be a little more open to cashing in this January if the interest is still there.

Everton are mentioned in the report, as are fellow Premier League side Newcastle United.

Sucic currently does not want to leave Italy and is ready to fight for his place, but the coming weeks are crucial in determining if he has a part to play.

What could Sucic bring to Everton?

As mentioned by Boban above, Sucic is a bit of an all-rounder in midfield.

He has played five times as a defensive midfielder this season, seven times in attacking midfield and three times in a pure central position.

It could be argued that this is not exactly a priority area for Everton in January.

That is true, with a striker very much top of the list, but if a deal is there to be done for Sucic then it is not one Everton can let pass them by.

Sucic is clearly a very talented player and he is exactly the type of signing the Toffees should be going after for the right price.
