Everton deal finalised for Charlton starlet Reuben Gokah

Everton have built a reputation for developing highly-promising players into stars.

Wayne Rooney is no doubt the best example, as he went on to become a Manchester United and England legend.

Now, Everton are aiming to repeat this feat with Reuben Gokah.

The 16-year-old is highly rated at Charlton Athletic after progressing through their academy.

Reports have now suggested that Everton have struck a deal to sign Gokah from the London club.

Beto’s Everton future is uncertain as the Merseyside club enters the transfer window.

As a result, Leeds United are looking to purchase Beto this summer as they prepare for their top-flight return.

However, if the Toffees accept a bid for the striker, they will have to give 10 per cent of the fee to his former side, Portimonense, due to the Portuguese club still owning some of Beto's sports rights.

David Moyes tables mega-bid for Thierno Barry

With Beto being linked away from Everton, Moyes is aware that the Merseyside club need a new striker.

Multiple stars have been linked to the Hill Dickinson Stadium as the Toffees aim to finally end their attacking woes.

One player who Everton have been showing strong interest in is Thierno Barry.

The Villarreal star netted 11 times this season as well as picked up four assists in just 32 matches.

Everton have no interest in Vardy

Another striker that Everton have been linked with is Jamie Vardy.

The Englishman’s 13-year stay at Leicester City is finally coming to an end this summer after the Foxes’ relegation.

The veteran Premier League striker has been linked to a host of clubs, including the Toffees, as he searches for a new team.

However, despite the links, a new report suggests that Everton hold no interest in signing Vardy this summer on a free transfer.
