West Brom have rejected a new £15million bid from Everton for their star winger Tom Fellows, according to Miguel Delaney.

The Independent journalist reported [3 February] that the Baggies have already rejected the follow-up bid after already submitting a £10million offer for the 21-year-old [Alan Nixon].

If Fellows is to remain at The Hawthorns in this window, Everton could face competition from the likes of Brentford and Southampton once the summer window opens, it is believed.

Everton submit higher bid for Tom Fellows

It is no surprise that Fellows is a player of interest at Goodison Park, having been linked with a move to Merseyside during the past few transfer windows.

However, it is becoming difficult for a deal to be agreed before the 11pm deadline on Monday night [3 February], with just a few hours left before the window slams shut until the summer.

While the Toffees look rejuvenated under David Moyes, there are still aspects of the current squad which can be improved and the right-wing is certainly one of them.

Jack Harrison has failed to impress in either of his loan spells away from Leeds United and has dropped considerably down the pecking order, and Jesper Lindstrom is not much better.

The Danish ace, who is on loan from Napoli, has become a favourite due to his attitude to improving, but with zero goals to his name, the move to England is not working out.

Fellows, on the other hand, has notched two goals and 10 assists in the Championship this season, helping the Baggies to a play-off spot, albeit only on goal difference right now.

He is a key component to Tony Mowbray's squad so if Albion are to let him go before the deadline passes, Everton will have to offer yet another bid for his services.
