Everton plan in place as Iliman Ndiaye and team-mate could exit
Everton are making contingency plans in case Iliman Ndiaye departs Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer.
The 26-year-old, currently away with Senegal at the World Cup, has become a firm fan favourite among the Toffees faithul.
However, Ndiaye's future is not entirely set in stone, with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United reportedly having him on their own transfer shortlists this summer.
Everton are, naturally, reluctant to sell, but Ndiaye has spoken recently of his ambition to play in the Champions League.
The situation will no doubt be discussed upon his return to Merseyside from the World Cup, and Everton will be keen to ensure it does not become a long-running saga.
But, if the worst were to happen, and Everton have to cash in, it looks as though contigency plans are in place.
Iliman Ndiaye is not the only attacker who could leave Everton
The further we get into the window, the more the rumour mill will crank up, and there will likely be exits as well as incomings.
Indeed, Ndiaye is not the only Everton attacker linked with an exit, as Dwight McNeil is reportedly on West Ham's radar.
According to the Athletic, David Moyes is already looking for a goalscoring right winger this summer anyway.
However, Everton have plans in place to potentially seek another winger addition should they be left light by the exit - or exits - of Ndiaye and/or McNeil.
What's the latest with Jack Grealish and Tyrique George at Everton?
Everton are already pretty light on the flanks as things stand, so it makes sense to be targeting reinforcements in those areas.
Jack Grealish was impressing in an Everton shirt during his loan spell from Manchester City before an ill-timed injury brought an end to his season.
There remains hope that Everton could attempt a return to Hill Dickinson Stadium, but that largely depends on his recovery.
Tyrique George arrived on loan from Chelsea in January, which included a purchase option in the region of £25million.
Everton are not expected to exercise that clause as things stand, but may attempt to go back to the negotiating table with Chelsea to agree fresh terms.
