Everton will continue to add to their squad after they're done signing Nathan Patterson from Rangers, claims Alan Myers.

The Sky Sports editor was asked whether there were likely to be any more signings after the Patterson deal was done.

To which he responded, "Yes, and it depends on outs I’d suggest."

He also replied in the affirmative when quizzed as to whether he would be signed in time for the Hull City clash on January 8.

Good news

It's no secret that the Toffees need recruitments in January to salvage what's been a woeful campaign thus far.

After the early turmoil of the pre-Benitez days, his arrival saw a surprising change of mood on Merseyside.

However, with the side now closer to the relegation zone than the European places, it's far from an ideal situation to be in.

Marcel Brands has gone, Lucas Digne is likely to follow him out of the door, and as things stand, the board seem to be backing Benitez.

Everton

Should he deliver on his promises and utilise these new signings to guide the club back into the top half, he'll have won plenty of fans at Goodison Park.

However, as things stand, he's public enemy number one and he needs to deliver results as soon as possible.
