David Moyes was unable to hide his frustration about Everton's transfer business after the last-gasp 1-1 draw at Bournemouth.

The Toffees continued their unbeaten start to the season with a valuable point at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

Everton were staring down the barrel of defeat with Alex Scott putting Bournemouth ahead four minutes before half-time.

But James Tarkowski smashed in a 91st-minute leveller to send Everton home with a draw their general play deserved.

For Moyes, though, it was frustration with Everton's activity - both incomings and outgoings - that was all the talk following the game.

What did David Moyes say about Everton transfer business?

For Moyes, it is abundantly clear that the priority in the closing stages of the window has to be about incomings.

Everton fans should absolutely share that view, with the Toffees in need of strengthening in several areas.

However, there are a couple of big concerns about outgoings, which would severly weaken the Toffees' squad.

Iliman Ndiaye has been linked with a last-gasp move to Manchester City, an exit that would perhaps not be too surprising, though Liverpool's Cody Gakpo is also on their radar.

However, it was David Ornstein reporting that Nottingham Forest are in talks for Everton midfielder Harrison Armstrong that has caused real consternation.

The Tricky Trees are in talks over a £40million deal, but fans do not want to see one of their own depart, particularly given the vast talent the teenager has.

In quotes reported by the Liverpool Echo, Moyes said about the Armstrong fiasco: "I know that there's been an offer. Apart from that, I don't really think there's much else I've got to say about it."

Moyes added: "Without losing anybody, which we obviously don't want to do, we still need to add players to what we've got.

"I've been saying it for quite a while. I've been alluding to it, that we need to add, I think we've got some young, promising players, and we've got some things which are looking quite good.

"But even today, Hayden [Hackney] having his ankle [injured], I just didn't want to risk him too soon. Jimmy [James Garner], we've had to bring back quicker than we want with a hernia. And I think it showed today in Jimmy a little bit. So we're not that strong at the moment, squad-wise."

The news of Armstrong's potential exit was a big topic of discussion on Match of the Day's analysis of the Bournemouth draw.

Former Everton defender Ashley Williams acknowledged Moyes' frustration, but stated that what is happening at Everton is emblematic of modern football.

Speaking live on air, Williams said: "I think he's making it known that he's not happy about the transfer business, ins and outs.

"If he loses another player he's going to be more frustrated. As he said he'd like to bring more players in.

"The fans are frustrated, the manager's frustrated, but this is modern football, you kind of just have to work with what you're given.

"Absolutely, I can see why the frustration with David Moyes."
