How Everton feel about Adam Aznou exit as La Liga interest arrives
Things haven't quite clicked for Adam Aznou since his move to Everton.
Having joined from Bayern Munich last summer, the 20-year-old left-back was always seen as one for the future.
That's been evidenced by the fact he's only made two competitive appearances for the Toffees.
David Moyes did bring Aznou off the bench in Everton's 4-0 Carabao Cup win over Preston, handing him his first minutes of the 2026-27 season.
However, the Moroccan now looks set to be on his way out of Hill Dickinson Stadium before the 1 September deadline.

Which La Liga side are in Everton talks for Adam Aznou?
Despite his inability to break into the Everton first-team yet, Aznou is evidently still a player with a lot of talent and potential.
Indeed, you don't graduate from Bayern Munich's academy into their senior side if you've got nothing about you.
But in order for him to reach his full potential with Everton, the defender may need to spend some time away from Merseyside this season.
The Athletic claim on Saturday that Malaga are in talks with the Toffees over a loan deal for Aznou.
The report claims that sources with an understanding of the situation have informed The Athletic that he is expected to leave in the hunt for regular football.
It's stated that an agreement between the two sides is expected to be reached before Tuesday's 5pm deadline.
So, what would be Aznou's prospects of playing regular football with Malaga?
Aznou may have one tough playing time rival at Malaga
After dropping as low as Spain's third tier in 2023-24, Malaga have worked themselves back up to La Liga level.
But as with most newly-promoted sides, that first season back at the top level can be a very challenging one, and major upgrades are often needed.
Malaga do have a few left-backs on their books, but perhaps their best is 21-year-old Rafita.
A product of their youth system, he played 33 times for them last season, and has played every minute in their opening two La Liga games of 2026-27.
The young Spaniard looks a very promising talent, and so Aznou might have a tough time ousting him from Juan Funes' starting lineup.
