Idrissa Gana Gueye sends Iliman Ndiaye message after Everton exit speculation

Idrissa Gueye has hinted at where Everton star Iliman Ndiaye's future lies.

The Senegal star has been linked with an exit constantly this summer, with Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Hilal pushing for his signature.

Manchester United and Arsenal have also been linked with the contract rebel, who has refused to commit to several offers from the Blues.

Gueye himself departed after his deal expired and the sides could not come to terms, after a total of seven years on Merseyside.

He played 93 times with his compatriot for club and country and the former Toffees man has sent a message over his potential transfer.

It is an encouraging update for supporters, and suggests that he will be staying put.

Gueye seemed to suggest that the 26-year-old's immediate future is at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The Blues took to Instagram to share footage of Ndiaye's return to training after his post-World Cup break.

Gueye commented on the post, saying "here to stay" with a blue heart.

Perhaps he has inside information from his former teammate at club and international level.

Even if that is not the case, David Moyes' side still hold all the cards on the matter.

Why Everton will not have been worried about Ndiaye's future

Everton always had control over Ndiaye's future, so the speculation was not much of an issue for them.

It will continue throughout the summer, but the L3 outfit can hold firm, as he is contracted until 2029.

That means that Blues do not have to sell anytime soon, and have plenty of leeway in the market, even if he does not agree terms.

They may consider an offer if it meets their valuation, which is believed to be around the £75million mark.

However, that would leave them with even more work to do in the transfer market, so it would not be advisable to allow an exit at this point in the window.

It seems like the forward has accepted the Blues' stance on a potential departure, and appears like he is happy to stay, for now.
