Jordan Pickford is attracting interest from Juventus ahead of the summer transfer window, with Everton's stance on his exit clear.

Few Everton players are guaranteed to be here next season, though there are a handful of stars you would bank on doing so.

Pickford is one of them, with the England international set to enter his 10th season with the Merseysiders after his move from Sunderland back in the summer of 2017.

Had it not been for his heroics in goal, there is every chance that the Toffees would have been relegated in past campaigns.

However, that importance looks set to be put to the test with Juventus potentially looking to make a move for the goalkeeper this summer.

What is Everton's stance on Jordan Pickford sale?

Unsurprisingly, the Toffees are not willing to part ways with Pickford, at least not without a fight.

A report from Tutto Juve states that the Turin side would require a "significant investment" to have any chance of landing a deal this summer.

Everton are said to be unlikely to sanction his exit for a modest fee, and with three years left on his deal, they will be well within their rights to make that clear.

Juventus are said to be in the process of determining whether a potential deal would represent good value for money before making an official approach.

Pickford rumours pose recruitment question to Everton

It's highly unlikely that Everton would even consider sanctioning an exit for Pickford given the role he has at Hill Dickinson, but the exit links to pose the question as to what the plan will be if that were to happen.

Many Premier League clubs have gotten into the habit of signing a young goalkeeper to learn from their current number one, before then promoting them to the first team in the event of a departure

Everton have not done that, with Mark Travers currently next in line if Pickford were to move on.

It's a situation worth noting for the Toffees ahead of the summer transfer window, albeit certainly not a priority.
