Everton are set to wave goodbye to Nathan Patterson and Tim Iroegbunam.

The two are both firmly down David Moyes' pecking order at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The signings of Hayden Hackney and Christian Norgaard have pushed Iroegbunam into a surplus to requirements role.

Meanwhile, Moyes has never really placed his faith in Patterson despite Everton's well-documented right-back problem.s

As a result, both players are now on the cusp of sealing deadline-busting moves away from Merseyside.

Where are Tim Iroegbunam and Nathan Patterson now?

talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook claims via X that Patterson is now in Turin to undergo his medical with Torino.

Meanwhile, Iroegbunam is also said to be expected to travel down to Hull today to complete his medical tests with the Tigers.

The midfielder is claimed to be completing a £22million move to the MKM Stadium.

Patterson's move was always to be expected this summer, but there is a number of Evertonians who aren't best pleased to see Iroegbunam go.

But are Everton taking an unnecessary risk letting both of these players leave?

Why Everton could rue Iroegbunam, Patterson transfers

With Iliman Ndiaye on the verge of sealing a big-money move to Man City, Everton's coffers are about to be seriously bolstered.

As such, that takes a lot of pressure off needing to offload players to raise funds before the 11pm deadline.

Should Everton fail in their bid to sign a right-back, not having Patterson as emergency cover would leave Everton's issue there even worse than before.

Meanwhile, Hackney has had his injury problems of late, whilst Norgaard is also currently injured as well, so having Iroegbunam around for cover could've proved useful.
