Three Everton players who face an uncertain future before the end of the transfer window
Everton are working hard to make more additions to their squad during the transfer window.
So far, Hayden Hackney and Christian Norgaard have arrived at the Hill Dickinson Stadium to strengthen the Toffees' midfield.
Tyrique George and Merlin Rohl have also completed permanent transfers after loan spells last season.
Brennan Johnson is also on the cusp of arriving from Crystal Palace, with Dwight McNeil set to move to Selhurst Park in the opposite direction.
But there are several players who could leave the Blues this summer as well.
Here, Goodison News has identified three players facing an uncertain future in the closing weeks of the transfer window.
Iliman Ndiaye
The million-dollar question right now is whether Senegal ace Iliman Ndiaye will still be at Everton after the 1 September deadline.
Mega-rich Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal were heavily linked with a move for the 26-year-old, though those rumours have cooled a little recently.
But Ndiaye has made no secret of his desire to play in the Champions League, with Arsenal and Manchester United reportedly among his admirers.
Everton have offered several contracts to the former Marseille man, and he has opted to not sign them.
The longer it goes on, the harder it would be to replace him, but it feels as though there are no guarantees as it pertains to Ndiaye's future.
Tim Iroegbunam
Another player who has consistently been linked with the exit door this summer is Tim Iroegbunam.
With Idrissa Gana Gueye having now departed, and James Garner struggling with injury, Iroegbunam might have sensed opportunity to play more.
But Hackney and Norgaard have signed, and there could be further midfield reinforcement drafted in before the end of the window.
Premier League new boys Hull City have been linked on and off during the summer, and it would not be a huge surprise to see Iroegbunam depart.
Harrison Armstrong
Teenager Harrison Armstrong was drafted back from a loan spell at Preston last season.
The 19-year-old is a player with bags of potential, but is another who might find it difficult to get game time this season.
It stands to reason that Everton might sanction another loan move if they feel they are well stocked in central midfield.
However, if that were to happen you would assume it would not be signed off until much later in the window.
