Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has labelled James Rodriguez as the best player he has ever played with in his career.

The Frenchman arrived alongside Rodriguez and Allan during this window, with all three starting every Premier League game so far.

The Colombian has scored and assisted goals for the Toffees already, and that has seen him catch the eye of many fans and pundits.

Doucoure claimed that the South American has everything, with Carlo Ancelotti once again unlocking his best at Goodison Park.

"James is one of the best players I’ve played with," he said via the Liverpool Echo.

"He has got everything – the vision, the quality of the pass and the intelligence of the game. He has great experience, as well, as he has won a lot of trophies. For us, it is great to have a player like that."

Rodriguez has been a major part of Everton's upturn in form this season, with the playmaker at the heart of everything for the Toffees.

The 29-year-old has been irresistible, having two shots on goal and completing 3.3 key passes per game according to WhoScored.

Out of all players who have played three games, no one has managed more key passes, with Rodriguez at the heart of everything good in attack.

Should the Colombian continue at this rate, there is no reason why the Toffees can't earn European football next season, if they do - he will be vital.
